The Experiences of an 11th Grader
After a long time of not posting, I'm finally going to post again! That writer's block really kills...
This post is only based on my point of view. It's not based of a survey or anything.

I thought 11th grade was going to be the highlight of my senior high school years. I expected it to go easy, but I guess I was wrong.
Some teachers changed drastically and the environment of our classrooms changed so much. The teachers gave us more home works, gave us harder exams and some teachers gave us such a hard time by being sensitive towards us; they scolded us a lot, sometimes with no apparent reason. Some people in my class improved a lot despite the environment, but I wasn't having it. It gave me too much stress to the point where I just want to give up on school. Not cool. I tried to get my grades to improve my my grades were just... meh. I had the feeling of wanting to give up on school several times this year, and it somewhat almost drove me crazy.
I contemplated about it during the holidays, I got rid of my worries and was ready to work hard and improve this semester, but I failed again. That feeling of wanting to give up on school came back. I forced myself to not think about it and just go with the flow. My grades are currently slowly improving, I hope it's going to keep on improving, or at least stay that way.
There are some things that made this year memorable though, actually a lot. First of all was the live-in. That was one of the best experiences I had in grade 11. Being in the countryside, away from the noise and pollution of the city, and also from studies, was relaxing and refreshing. I came back to school feeling good. If you want to read about my post on the live-in, here's the link: http://carnolialoops.blogspot.co.id/2015/11/my-experiences-in-live-in.html
Second, a musical drama. My class and I performed a musical drama adapted from the film Pitch Perfect. It was really fun and we got a lot of praises from doing it, despite the fact that some teachers did not support us at first. I did not expect the drama to go that well, even though there are technical difficulties in the beginning, but it was awesome overall. When the girls were doing the Barden Bellas' final performance, the boys in our class came out with boards with "We love our XI Science's Bellas." Almost all of the girls broke down in the middle on that performance. It was really sweet though, I have never imagined that the boys in our class doing that. It was incredibly sweet. Thank you so much! I felt that because of the drama, our class' bonds became stronger, and we're sad because two of our classmates would be leaving us in grade 12.
When writing this, to be honest, I'm struggling to fight my emotions... They're all messed up. I apologize for everything I've done wrong in 11th grade, and I hope everything's going to be the best for us in 12th grade because the National Exams are coming.
Thank you.

This post was supposed to be posted last year in June. Sorry for the very late upload because I forgot about writing this post. Both of my friends who are supposed to study overseas are in their respective countries. I'm glad that they're safe in where they are now.
